Goop, a cool experiment

Now I want you to try this at home it's a cool experiment:

DO IT WITH A RESPONSIBLE ADULT GUARDIAN!!!!!

It takes only 5 minutes, and it's really easy.

We are making GOOP

Here's what we need:

2 small mixing bowls
1/2 c. (4 oz.) school glue
1 teaspoon of Borax
liquid food coloring
one cup water
Now we can officially begin to make GOOP:

1. in a small mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of glue and 1/2 cup of water
add a few drops of liquid food coloring to tint the mixture to the desired color/shade
2. in the second small mixing bowl, combine 1 teaspoon of Borax and 1/2 cup of water. mix thoroughly
3. pour the Borax mix with the glue mix. it will be very thick
4. knead slightly as the mix starts to come together
spread area with newspapers to avoid stains
5.PLAY!

Tips:

-always cover work areas with paper to prevent big mess and stains. wash out stains as soon as possible
-recommendedfor children ages 5 and up
-parents should supervise use of food coloring~it will stain!
-goop is not edible
-Borax is a laundry product~it can be found in regular grocery stores

I hope you have fun with your goop but make sure you are doing it with parental guidance, and approval.
