So movie reviews are commonplace on the HunjanCousins blog, and I intend on posting more in the future. So, to help assist you in your quest through cinemadom, I've devised a simple rating system that breaks the mold of the typical one, but it still pretty easy to use.

[beyond scale] Edible Magic Popcorn: This is a rating that signifies that a movie really changed your life and is one of your favorite movies of all time. Be careful not to use this rating unless you can honestly say that this movie changed who you are or had an effect on you that you will never forget. 

[°°°°°] Gourmet Popcorn: This movie is one that moves you very deeply. It is one that makes you think and feel more than a typical movie would. It is one that shows great achievement as a piece of art and a source of entertainment. You will not forget it soon and it really enters your mind and heart.

[°°°°] Caramel Popcorn: The movie not only satisfies, but has that extra-special something, that sweet aftertaste in your mouth which doesn't last forever, but beyond the four walls of the theater. You are struck by the film - it charms you.

[°°°] Buttered Popcorn: Wholly satisfying, a solid, predictably good film. It may be formulaic or ordinary, but it keeps you content.

[°°] Stale Popcorn: This sort of film has the basics down, but falls short of satisfying. It might be hurried, or stretched out too long. It has you vaguely interested, but feels unfinished or unpolished on the whole.

[°] Popcorn Kernals: It doesn't even feel like a feature film at all, it feels underdeveloped or uninteresting. It leaves one completely bored, or pining for more. However, it isn't revolting, it's just bad.
