'Order of the Phoenix' Movie Review

On July 20, 2007, I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with some friends. I liked the movie but of course there were some problems with the movie. First of all, it was nothing whatsoever like the Order of the Phoenix book. They got the part where Harry has detention with Dolores Umbridge right and the part where Sirius, otherwise known as Padfoot and who himself was a former Death Eater and is Harry's godfather, replies one of Harry's letters by talking to him via fire in the fireplace of the Gryffindor dormitory but got the beginning wrong. In the beginning of the book, Harry is laying outside in a flower bed outside the Dursleys' house and is overhearing the news while in the beginning of the movie, Harry is at the local park when the dementors attacked. Anyway, the movie was quite OK and all right unlike the 5th book of the Harry Potter series which was the original story and personally, I've got to confess that the books are way much better than the movies, and I'm very anxious for the sixth movie to come out and I hope it is much better than the previous movies. It is a must-see summer family film that despite its MPAA rating as PG-13, it should be for everyone. The music is awesome and the locations so breath-taking,it almost feels like you're actually there, they did a good job making the movie. It is just marvelous and very interesting unlike the Disney/Pixar summer film Ratatouille. (By the way, Ravleen, if you're there, you were right about the part that the books

are much better than the movies itself!)

Excellent review which looks at the positive and the negative fairly. I thought the movie was the second best yet - the visuals were stunning but they changed some of the plot. All-in-all, very enjoyable. Though obviously, the books are better by a million miles.

But um, you got a fact wrong. Sirius WAS NEVER a Death Eater!
