My Trip To Canada

Note from Ravleen: I'm typing for Manjeet in this post. These are her exact words - no edits from me at all.100% Manjeet. She dictated while I typed, because she's a little slow (okay, dreadfully slow) at typing and since we're visiting relatives, there isn't enough time for a 2-hour post. Everything else from this point on is Manjeet's words. I just thought you guys should know.

Sorry I haven't been writing a lot since we've made HunjanCousins, so now I'm going to write a real post about my trip to Canada. It all starts out in the car ride. Seven hours of pain. My mom kept handing us two-year old granola bars and month-old coke. So we were starving too. We only got to go to a restaraunt once. Let's move on to the good part where we got to the border. My cousin Param's house is only about 20 minutes way from it, so I was excited when we got there. When we got there it was 2:30 in the morning so we had to go to sleep right away.

Let's talk about some of the events that happened. For my sister's birthday we went to Victoria. We went on a ship. It was around an hour and a half long. When we got there we were on a carriage ride to Miniature World. It's a place that shows different times and places in the world in miniture. There was a park that you could wait at while the ship wasn't ready. Me and my cousins played on it. On the way back home we went to a restaurant for dinner. It was called Mirch Masala. The coolest thing there was called the Sizzler. It was paneer with vegetables and lemons and it was making a sizzling sound. That's why it's called the Sizzler. When we got home to Param's house me, Param, Preeti and Nanima set up the couch bed. Me and Param and Preeti all slept on it. Another event that happened was a wedding. We kinda missed a little bit of the wedding part but the function and the part that we did see was fun. I wanted to do mendhi but when they did mendhi we were still in Oregon. What else?

Now I'll tell you a little bit about my cousins. Let's start with Preeti. She's the cutest little four-year-old cousin. She loves cotton balls. She tries to get into everything and she copies everything everyone does. But she's still the cutest little baby ever. Next there's Param. He's turning 10 in March. He's obsessed with science. And he likes to figure out how things work. He's fun to play with too. And there's Maheshi too. He likes to draw. His favorite thing to draw is Pokemons. He likes to play video games too. When you're bored he always has something to do with you. Next is Simran Didi. She loves to draw even more than Maheshi. She's a really good artist. She likes the computer just like my sister. Now there's Gurinder Veerji, he's going to college. They have a hockey table and he always plays hockey with it. My bhuaji named Brina Didi that I still call 'didi' (because she's only 21) likes to paint my nails. She likes purses a lot. Her outfits always matching. Whenever my family goes to her house she always find a movie for me and my sister and her and her sister to watch. Her sister Jasmine Didi is a couple years older than Brina Didi. I always see her drinking milk and cookies. She has a lot of blue stuff in her room.

Hope you enjoyed my long post. I'll talk more about Canada later. Love Manne.

Hi Manne! It's Cousin Ramandeep. It seemed you two had a great time in Canada. Wish I'd gone with you.
