San Diego......The cutest animals ever! (Chapter 2)

After we got to the hotel, we all just fell asleep at once. Our car drive was exhausting! I mean seriously, could you sleep in a car that was echoed with the sound of kiddy songs and ABC's?
So when we got to 0ur hotel room, I sighted the bed. I had a mission. And then I ran to the bed and relaxed, mission complete.

The next day I woke up and I realized that everyone was awake, even Yuvraj and Meher! Now, Yuvraj his mom and his dad were in another room but it was connected to mine. So whenever we had to go to the other room we just opened a door and we are there! Yuvraj came running in to our room and started to play with Meher. When I got up I saw that they were on the floor beside my bed. I played with them for a couple of minutes and after that I heard my mom calling me. She just came out of the bathroom. " Manjot, get ready now!you're the last one to get up and you're going to make us late and we won't have enough time to see all the animals!"scolded my mom. I waited for my dad to come out of the shower, until then I played with Meher and Yuvraj, when I should have been taking out my clothes. I completely forgot. My dad came out I got my clothes out, and got ready. When everyone was ready (including Yuvraj, Pinky didi , and jijoo) We got in the van and Jijoo drived. I couldn't wait to get to the zoo! But we had to put all our stuff in another Marriott inn. Grrrrrr! I didn't want to wait that long!this was taking forever! But I couldn't do anything about it so I stayed quiet.

When every thing was done we all loaded in to the car, and drove to the San Diego Zoo! The biggest zoo in the world! Omg, this was going to be great! When our short 15 min. drive was over, we got out of the car and gave our tickets. Fortunately the line wasn't to long because we were there pretty early. When we entered through the gate, we saw a huge group of flamingos! And they were so pink! I think Meher liked them, for she loves the color pink. I took loads of pictures and took plenty of notes. We walked along the trail and I spotted the koalas! I couldn't help but stop and look, they were so cute! Especially the babies! I saw one koala sleeping with it's mom, awww!

I just didn't want to leave! While we were looking at the koalas, we heard a lot of chirping I ignored the sound and continued observing the koalas. But after a while I decided to move on to another animal. When we walked along the trail, we found out where the chirping noise was coming from. The birds! And how amazing they were. There were so many different kinds and they were all so colorful! But their chirping noises got a little bit annoying. But I didn't mind.
Our we passed by so many different animals! But I think the funniest were the elephants. When we got there, we saw four elephants they were all adults.

Now here is the funny part. For some strange reason Meher was attracted to one specific elephant. So my mom and I watched that elephant too. When we looked we saw the elephant was peeing! And it was so big that it looked like a fossit was turned on! And it didn't stop, it went on for two whole minutes! Ha ha ha! I thought that was the funniest. Now I thought the lions were going to be really really exciting, but they were just sleeping so it wasn't that great. But my dad loved watching them, for he loved lions! Even though they were sleeping, I realized that only the adults were sleeping. The cubs were playing! This caught my attention. They were really cute. But the moms stayed real close to them becuse they saw us. After this we saw camels. Ewwwww they stinked like crazy! But I read something interesting about them on the sign that tells you about the animal. Their hump stores water for them. I thought that was really interesting. We saw hundreds and hundreds of animals! We took the little kids (Meher and Yuvraj) to a little petting zoo they had for kids. They petted sheeps and goats. I did too, but when I petted the black one, something sticky got on my hands. So I stopped petting the animals. Yuvraj started puuling the ear of this goat and it didn't look to happy. We stopped Yuvraj. And Meher was a little bit scared at first, but when she saw how quiet they were she started to pet them.

We went to other animals but the kids didn't really want to go. We made them go somehow. We saw many animals, we even went on the sky ride to have a better view. When it was getting late we got some souvenirs and headed back to our room in the inn. I couldn't sleep that night thinking of all the things we did.
